About me
Seina Hoshika
I’m a UI/UX designer from Japan, currently living in Vancouver, Canada.
I have a background in psychology and marketing, which led me to shift my career into design. Since every service and product is created for end users, I want to create designs that have a meaningful impact on people’s experiences.
Starting my journey as a designer in Canada has helped me grow a lot. Not only as a designer, but also as a person, I’ve been learning more about people and different perspectives in the world.
My design focuses on usability, user-centered thinking, and attention to detail—because I genuinely care about people.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring many things like handball, going to the gym, traveling, and learning new skills. My curiosity never stops :)

I love…
Exercise
Besides my career, I have been playing handball for more than 20 years. It has led me to explore active hobbies like martial arts and Spartan races.
Whenever I need to be creative, my body naturally wants to move.

Travelling
Travelling around the world is one of my bucket list goals. Experiencing different countries in person feels completely different from just reading about them. These experiences shape my identity and creativity. My journey will never stop…
